Hotel room of the future

Scientists in Germany have developed the “Hotel Room of the Future” to show hotels how they can use the latest technology to make guests feel more comfortable. Here video taken in the laboratory at the Fraunhofer Institute in Duisburg to test the room’s hi-tech features.

Love the window that becomes a video screen and the sensors on the floor that automatically switch on the lights if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Our captain loves the interior design: it remembers her the orbital lounge!
